I love this new version of Ace Utilities but I notice the default "Backups" folder is located in the "My Documents" folder...
I moved it to the Folder where I installed the Program but it seems to recreate itself to the Docs folder..Now it is totally logical for the OEM backup folder to be in the Docs folder ;I think it would be nice to have the ability to place it elsewhere too...In some cases it may be beneficial to have the backups in a more secure place thereby being protected in case of a re-install etc....

Re: Ace Backup folder
Hey Jazz, yes the backup folder does install by default in the "My Doc" but you can relocate it, I did relocate it to the same directory folder that the program installs in too. But you do this by making the change inside of Ace Utilities i.e. "Options" Registry Cleaner>Top section>Backup registry entries deleted to the folder>and change the location there, this will permanently change the backups registry entries folder.jazzbodepew wrote:I love this new version of Ace Utilities but I notice the default "Backups" folder is located in the "My Documents" folder...
