Also, you can disable 'grouping' by going to the 'View' menu of the tool and unchecking the 'Enable groups' option. The down side is this change has to be made every time. :--|FAM07 wrote:Hi,
Here are my questions (RC4):
1- Is there any form to avoid the groups of files or keys that the results show after a scan, for example setting it in Options?
2- When it is opened a group, the found elements appear highlighted (blue), is it a bug?
Thanks.

I have a Windows 8 64-bit system. 'Fix Invalid Shortcuts' finds some valid shortcuts.

This applies to Windows 7 SP1 x86 and x64 Professional with RC5.
If you do a fresh/clean install, the Wizard does not install the Ace Utilities folder in the Start Menu. If you install again over the top, the folder shows up in the Start Menu.
In addition, Registry Cleaner and Registry Compactor utilities have the same icon. Registry Compactor icon is incorrect.

It's the 'separator' between menu items. Try 'disabling' it and then view the 'jump list'; see the difference.siliconman01 wrote:What is blank entry in Jump List option list ??

Few questions.
Does the Backup location change only on fresh installs of Ace Utilities?
Do "Over the top" upgrades retain the original location (%Documents%) of the backups?

Below are two registry keys that AU registry cleaner should NOT detect for deletion. They are for SuperAntiSpyware software, 32-bit and 64-bit version.

That's from program DisplayFusion which is a program for controlling multiple monitors. Clicking on that icon moves the window to my second monitor. Clicking again moves it back to the first monitor. I am currently running DisplayFusion Pro V5.0.0.0 Beta 4 which is the most recent version.Aneesh wrote:Strange!siliconman01 wrote:This applies to Windows 7 SP1 x86 Professional. Turning off DisplayFusion does not fix the problem. Moving AU to the second monitor does not solve the problem.
I have DisplayFusion controlling multiple monitors on my Windows 7 SP1 x64 Professional systems and the problem with AU does NOT occur on 64-bit.

I am not sure if it was occurring on previous versions of AU or on V5.3 Beta 1-4. I only implemented the option yesterday after a fresh install of AU V5.3RC5.
I just removed V5.3 and re-installed V5.2.5 (32-bit) and the problem exists on this version as well.
