Soon, I Hope. Possibly with in the week if we don't decide to keep RC1 out for some more public test. :--)
We're contemplating (read 'testing') over the GUI change for 'Erase Your History' to match theme change. Let's see if it all works out in time.

Hmm, well that's the intended behaviour of "Remove all startmenu click history". :-\ Let's see what we can do.

Just asking cuz in Ccleaner there is an option to keep pinned jumplist entries. Would be nice to have it all in AU so I can ditch Ccleaner alltogether:)

Okay, help me out a bit here. Are you talking about pinned entry in the start menu or pinned entry in the submenu of a start menu item? If possible, email us a screenshot.

How about auto-detection of plugins for the history cleaner? is that possible?
I like the updated GUI, very nice!
...and all those small funny sounds are still there! I love them!! :D

I have some ideas/suggestions too, I guess it's too late for this version but;
1. Tweak and Tune incorporated in Ace Utilities would be a nice addition.
2. Service Manager which is easier to use than the Windows provided one, with some more information about the services. Service tweaking can give your gaming rig some good performace boost as you don't use most services for gaming.
3. Defragmenter... I know, there's a lot of good options out there, but as an all-in-one whore, I want to suggest it anyway :)

Good job, keep it up! :)

1. I just noticed that it's potentially a bad idea to uncheck "Hide windows entries" in the startup manager if you don't know for sure about windows services and what they do.
Paul Collins startup list flagged some important windows services there, ex. Windows Audio as part of a worm/virus, not very good idea to remove or disable considering that any sound won't work anymore doing that

2. Old icons/points, in this case the yellow question mark should be updated to something more up to date and suitable for the new GUI, example on this picture found on the internet where you can see the yellow question mark -->
http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/5859 ... kdecd3.jpg
You can find it at some plugins in the history cleaner and also the startup manager, probably somewhere else too, ex. System Mechanic 4 and some others in history cleaner has it, talking about that maybe some old plugins could be removed

3. A function to make your own plugins for the history cleaner would be a nice little addition, for example I have Battlefield 2 that creates some leftovers in a logocache and dmp folder that I would like to add.

4. I just found out that you can right click and check all plugins in history cleaner! oops  I guess auto-detection is not that necessary anymore :)

and last...I love the office2007black skin! thanks for that! :D

We are working on it

You can find such context menus in almost every list control in Ace.

That's nice! 8)
Do you have any Tweak N' Tune + Ace Utilities = true plans? :P
I guess icons and such minor UI issues is part of the final work on RC versions before the final version 8)
You have a really nice product, Ace Utilities + PerfectDisk and I'm quite well armed I think
Edit: Column widths is not saved in the uninstaller.

That is nice idea for tweakntune.I am also wondering if Ace team have a near of far future plans for that.

I would gladly be a beta tester for it.Maybe some day
That needs a lot of testing, new gui, complete rewrite, vista and win7 support.

I think that there is no sense to work on freeware for win 7 like startup gard, couse antivirus do that job ass wll as
msconfig and au start manager.
Also Ram Optimizer, win7 has alredy integrated module for that, and everyone have at least 2gb of ram nowadays so
TweakNTune has biggest potential to "upgrade".
Also nice feature would be registry finder integrated in au.
Dont know why is shareware because there is regedit.

About perfect disk...

My friend has Perfect Disk, it has an active module in services, active startup program working in background, and that combined with startup antivirus and potentially some other startup program, has a bad impact for performance. He uninstalled it soon after installation.PC is not faster or something(for that you overclock processor).
My advice is that you use AU, and registry compactor as well as windows defragment.

OFFTOPIC: ON
With the newly released version PerfectDisk 11 you can choose to keep it at manual mode after installing is ready, which means no startup and no background processes.

Latest news: I think the Wizard is still using the old GUI.

Wolfy,

We will not be able to update Wizard, Registry Compactor, etc in this version :(
If we do, we will not be able to release the update this month. This update has several critical bug fixes, so it's important we release it asap.

Will surely theme some more dialogs in the next version.
