AU new look and features

Post by uzi69 » Sun Jan 10, 2010 12:49 pm

Dear Acelogix team,

dont get offended, but why does ace utilites look like (ready for windows 98)?

It is 2010,Windows 7 are out,and you have almost same look, like years, and years ago.

And please add more features

Umm, Windows 98 look, is it? Strange. There are two set of images now - 9x legacy look and the new look. By default, the program comes with the new look, but one can choose to revert to the legacy look via appropriate setting in the 'Options'.

For example just look at advanced system optimizer, for the same price like ace utilites, and compare looks, registry tools,
system tools etc...and tell me what do you have to offer for your faithful customers like me who bought original license key?I just said you could work more and do something right.

Similiar products have different GUI layout, I do admit. To efficiently do a particular task, a tool does not need to be 'flashy'. The team wanted to keep the product to maintain a compact size whilst performing well. That's the main reason why the GUI's been kept moderate. We value your input and will work on that. Thanks.

I must say that new STU, doesnt look like windows 98 ready, it looks very , very nice with black skin on windows 7, it is transparent, with see through opacity.Sorry i said that it has bad look.

Maybe you should consider, in couple few years there was a lot of posts pointing, that you should integrate all free utilities like regbak, tweak n tune (who has to be updated for windows 7), etc , and also maybe registry finder into ace utilites or something.

If STU is lightweight, Ace Utilites doesnt have to be lightweight, now you have basicly 2 same programs, with also same license key, so what is the point?

My suggestion is that you "fill" Ace Utilites with everything, and leave STU as it is lightweight, and separate those two products, no same license key.

Cheers!
