System TuneUp issues

Post by uzi69 » Sun Feb 07, 2010 1:42 pm

Latest System TuneUp has the same bug as Ace Utilites (Registry Cleaner)
Delete Value : Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Eset\ESET Security\CurrentVersion\Plugins\01000400\Profiles\@My profile\MirrorFolder
Invalid Entry : C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\mirror
Errors in System (Local Machine) Hive

But interesting is when i created report file with System TuneUp for well known Eset Nod Profiles registry problem,
in my report there are also 50 repaired errors showned.

I tryed to turn off, turn on SystemTune up, run registry cleaner, one error above (Nod), but when i create report file for that one registry issue, there is about 50 erorrs, that i have repaired in previous session.

Windows 7 Ultimate x86

Cheers!

STU

Windows 7 x86 Ultimate

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software\Classes\CLSID\{7007ACD1-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E}\DefaultIcon
{KEY}

Empty DefaultIcon

this entry can not be excluded, for some reason

Cheers!

We'll check it. Meanwhile, for Ace Utilities, you can add the entry to the ignore list > go to Ace Utilities Options > Clean System Registry > Ignore list manager > uncheck 'Use ignore list intelligently' > Ok and try running the scan again to see if it helps.
