I'm glad to hear that. I have never known you to release buggy software. A release without all of the suggested additions or changes is something I can live with.
Thank you,
Robert

Many thanks for release! It is great!
But there are two interesting things for me...
1) After opening Auto-start Manager I see Logon entries.
Then I click All. And now I see only part of Logon enties (not all).
Only after clicking Refresh I see all my entries.
Look at Screens.
If to click other Categories, sometimes you will see nothing at all.
2)After restart the computer, Plug-ins in History became unmarked again.

I did clear installation.
Work with ASUS M51Kr, Vista Home Premium SP2 x32.

Regards.

I'm experiencing the same issue on Vista SP2 x64 Business.
Home Built ASUS ROG Maximus Extreme with Windows 10x64 Pro; Dell XPS 15 (9575) 2in1 with Windows 11x64 Pro; Dell XPS 8940SE with Windows 10 x64 Pro.

The issue with auto-start manager is confirmed. We'll look into it.
But the check-mark state of the plugins seem to work as expected. :-\ Check-marked entries are kept selected across various sessions

Several words about Plugins in History. I found a mistake, it is only mine.
It is specific for my ASUS M51Kr. Now Plugins work fine for me.

Issue 1
At Options > Erase History > IE users, the 'All users of this computer' option is selected for both cache and cookies section.

All the required options are check-marked in Ace Utilities > Erase Your History tool >Internet Explorer section.

UAC is Disable.

Internet Explorer 8 Protected Mode is Off.

Erase History for All users of this computer does not clean Internet Explorer Cache and Internet Explorer Cookies for all the 3 users at same time. Erase History works fine ONLY for the logon account.

You always have this issue and I am reporting you since 5.0 beta was introduced. If this option has no use then please remove it in next release.

Issue 2
I guess your program does not support media card wiping?

Dear saad,

Regarding issue 1:
I just checked the 'erase IE history for all users' feature in Windows XP SP3, Vista 32 and 64-bit systems (4 users in each version, administrator and limited credentials). Every time the erase option worked as expected. :-\ This was mentioned in an earlier post of mine as well - http://acelogix.com/forums/viewtopic.ph ... t=45#p5925. An odd anomaly indeed!

Regarding issue 2:
When you plug in the media card, does Windows show this as a drive? If you have enabled the 'Show removable drives' options, then Ace Utilities should show the drive in its 'wipe' tool. We'll check it here as well.

Issue 1
I have tried it on Vista 32-bit operating system.

Issue 2
Removable drives are always visible in computer explorer. Also 'Show removable drives for Wipe Deleted File Data Tool' is checked. I am including some snapshots also.

What happens when you delete stuff in your PCs recycle bin? I am cleaning out my computer, and everything I delete goes to the recycle bin. If I delete those things in the bin, will the data those things take up become free space on my computer? Thanks for answering!

Depends on method of delete.
Files in recycle bin deleted on regular way, are not actually deleted."Deleted" data can be restored by using
recover software. That means "deleted" data is still somewhere on pc, consuming free space.
My recommendation:
When do you want to delete something in recycle bin, use au wipe recycle bin.On that way you erase
all data, you can not recover it, and it is not consuming free space.
Also, wipe free space to erase traces of deleted files on regular way, which are consuming free space.
AU - protect - wipe deleted data - wipe free space.
Regards!
