Only if the extension(s) of file(s) inside the c:\windows\prefetch folder matches the extensions that you've set to scan for, the files are shown in the list.

Ace Utilities v.4 find about 20 errors in registry after work in Corel Draw.
Ace Utilities v.5 find only 1 error after equal work.
Maybe my settings are wrong?
Check if 'ActiceX &COM' option is enabled in v5.0 'Clean System Registry'. It could also be because of the new entries/patterns in the default 'ignore list' and the related settings files shipped with v5.

v5.0 finds less entries for CorelDraw because in the 'exclude' list for v5.0, certain registry paths related to this software have been added. So the new version does not list entries matching this newly added 'exclude pattern' for CorelDraw. Such a restriction was not placed in v4.

If you want v5.0 to include these entries for CorelDraw, download the file attached to this post, go to \data\ignore_reg folder in the Ace Utilities' installation folder and overwrite the existing file.

I have a question concerning the Genie Backup Manager.dat file in the Ignore_reg directory. What is the "Cory" in this? Shouldn't that be the user of the system it is installed on?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software\Genie-Soft\GBManager4\Main
TempLevel
C:\DOCUME~1\Cory\LOCALS~1\Temp\GBackupTempDir
[Invalid Path: 'Data' Column]
Thank you,
Robert

The part after the "//" is irrelevant in that file. They are just reminder notes left in place by us for our use. You can delete them if you want.

No, that's fine, I will leave them as is. I just noticed it and was curious. Believe it or not, this is the first time I have ever looked at any of those files. Actually, the info after the "//" kind of explains a little about what the file is for. Kind of interesting since I use Genie Backup Manager Pro. I was afraid I was going to have to change my name to Cory to get it to work right, though.
Thank you,
Robert

Is this how the tool launches itself or does this happen only when you use the 'Info' toggle button?
It happens, when "info" button is switched out (like on the picture inside my post).
Could you export the preferences for Ace Utilities via 'menu' > 'settings' > 'export preferences', and send that file to Acelogix Software support?

Great job!
I did all things you advise. And now Ace Utilities v.5 work perfectly for me!
And one little thing...I reinstalled v.4 and upgraded from the Ace Utilities...After that "Auto-Start Manager" in Ace Utilities v.5 works fine. If I shall see the wrong picture once more, I send you Preferences.
You are the best!

Ooops, the same again! Now I send you AcePrefs5.0.0 ("Auto-Start Manager" picture is wrong, when "info" switched off).
Send it from Support, but there is not possibility to attach a file. So send you AcePrefs5.0.0 via Notepad.
Did you receive it?
Regards!

There must be something on your system causing it. I have tested that over and over and it does not show like that for me. I am using XP Pro SP3.
Thank you,
Robert

You could send it to Acelogix Support email (support @ acelogix.com). 'Support' page is not meant for attaching files.
