Registy Compactor Errors

Post by Castro » Thu Oct 28, 2004 1:13 pm

I liked Ace Utilities so much I saved up my pennies and bought it. It's great.

But the Registry Compactor will not run past the "Wizard" because of error code 601.

Anybody got any suggestions?

(XP Pro SP2)

Please send the file c:\program files\acelogix\Registry Compactor\rc.log to support@acelogix.com

We will check the file to see what's wrong.

hi pantomime_horse,

We have found the issue, and can correct it.

I'm asking out of curiosity, can you give some info on the harddisk/partition on which you have installed Windows ? Is it NTFS ? or do you have more than one harddisk ? I am seeing some strange entries in the log file.

Try

and see if the error is fixed

Can you tell me if you are using Genie Software's File Access Manager (FAM) please?

I and some other users have the same issue and I'm trying to isolate the cause of code 601.

What does code 601 actually mean?

Hari et al can you set a page up for code messages please.
