We just ran a couple of test runs of 'Wipe Recycle Bin' tool. Every time we used a random number of files (100+, 1000+ files etc). Each time the tool showed the proper number of file being deleted as expected, both during wiping using context menu option and wipe using Ace Utilities > Protect sub-section.

When we tested, the Opera 9.60 history, cookies, address bar URLs and cache files are being properly cleaned while running 'Erase History > Opera' section. Since another user has also quoted this issue, we'll continue testing.

Thank you for participating in the beta testing.
Hi!
Several screenshots about WIPE are there.
About Opera-yes, I set Opera in one (and only one) way-default- and Ace works properly.
But default Opera is not safe.
What about SeaMonkey (see my post above)? :D

It is me again...
A little bug. The sign of Intel Media Graphics Accelerator is not right in Uninstall Manager (screens_2).
Remark:this driver is in System32.
And it`s a pity that there isn`t Access Time in Disk Analysis.

Kind time of day!
1) I can`t switch settings to a mode "Emergency" in options of "Junk Files". Something happens with the program or my Vista gives failure?
2) Also there is one offer. It is known, that clearing of elements ActiveX in the Registry sometimes is dangerous. It arises from this: a parametre and/or a key is visible only. But it is not clear, by which program these elements are created . Whether is it probably (in general) precisely to compare element ActiveX to the program, by which it was created?

Create a new icon and add the icon "1-Click Cleanup" to the desktop, to facilitate our task of maintaining the computer.

In Ace Utilities version 5.0 beta Junk files cleaner does not scan system and hidden folders even though 'Use ignore list' is unchecked. Same problem in System Tuneup version 2.2. Ace Utilities version 4.2 works fine.

Erase History does not clean system for all the users even though ‘Delete Internet Explorer’s Cache and History for: All user of this computer’ is checked. Also same problem in ‘Delete Internet Explorer’s Cookies’.

You have same problem in Ace Utilities version 4.2 and System Tuneup version 2.2

I have tried these programs with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.

When wiping Recycle Bin from context menu it does not shows proper numbers of the file being deleted.

Another post :)

MSN Messenger creates some junk files (sqmdata00.sqm). I have created a new profile called 'Modified' into 'Remove Junk Files'. Then I have added *.sqm as a junk file. I ran your program and it didn't detect these files. Usually these files location is C:\. Then I ran 'Remove Junk File' from Ace Utilities v4.2 and it was able to detect *.sqm files.

Registry Cleaner does not detect left over data from MuiCache of the programs were accessed from a Removable drive until the Removable drive is unplugged from the system.

I have wiped Free Space with all the options.

Free disk space (checked)
Cluster tip area (checked)
Directory entries (checked)

After the task was completed when I restared my computer, Windows Vista color schemes (Windows Vista Aero and all others) were lost.

I have hard disk image made before I test your program. So I am lucky :)
