AU would check a profile folder to check if there is a cookie.sqlite file present. If it is there, it decides it is a FF3 profile folder and won't look for cookies.txt file in the same folder. FF3 automatically converts cookies.txt to cookie.sqlite on install.
Please let me know if FF2 uses the same profile folder as FF3 ; all we need to do is remove one line of code.

FF2 Profile:
"C:\Documents and Settings\user1\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\v2"
And I think by default Cache is in:
"C:\Documents and Settings\user1\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\v2\Cache"
Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3
hi Jwebby
AU should clean the v2 profile folder if there is no cookies.sqlite file in that folder (v2). Can you please check if there is any cookies.sqlite file there ?

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3
Babar,
Please download http://www.acelogix.com/downloads/aufull.exe and try again.
The AU verison is the same, but we added another file to the setup ; so it is different.

Just did it, but still only showing a single, protected cookie - none of the many others...hari wrote:Babar,

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3
AU is now working like it should. I have 4 FF profiles; v1, v1.5, v2, and v3. It sees them all, sees the cookies in all profiles and cleans everything perfectly.hari wrote:Babar,

I would say this issue is fixed.
Thank you, your hard work is very appreciated.
Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3
Jwebby, glad to hear the issue is fixed. In fact, we fixed it yesterday itself (setup was missing one file).

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3
Babar,
Can you please post here the contents of the file
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini
Let me know the FF3 installation folder (is it c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox) ?
Also, paste the contents of the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox
include the subkeys too. Right click on the above key, click Export from the context menu.

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3
I hate to say this but there is one last issue;
I have a shortcut using commandline: "C:\Program Files\Ace Utilities\au.exe" /tasks:h
If FF is open the little white box in the corner hangs until you close FF. I can make it work by unchecking the FF Browsing History but that kind of defeats the purpose.
I realize it's not going to clean the cache with FF open but it would be nice if it didn't hang. If it can't clean it, it should ignore it.
Thanks.
