WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO ADD TO THE "EXCLUDE LIST" ON JUNK FILES THE POSSIBILITY OF ADDING FILE NAMES/AND OR/FILE EXTENSIONS WHEN EXCLUDING FOLDERS? SOMETHING LIKE:
c:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\USER\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP\*TMP, OR *XML ETC? THIS WOULD ELIMINATE THE NECESSITY OF SPECIFYING THE ENTIRE FOLDER.
THANKS

JUNK FILE EXCLUDES
Hi,
The option is already available.
Open the folder
C:\Program Files\Ace Utilities\Data\Ignore_Junk
Now, create a new file say 'emilemma.txt'.
Open the file in notepad, and enter the filetype to exclude line by line
for example, the contents of this file can be :
YOu can open other ini files in the folder to get an idea.
note: no need to ignore *.tmp in the temp folder. these are temp files.

FILE DID NOT WORK
I DID JUST AS YOU SUGGESTED, CREATING FILE "EMIMEMMA.INI" ADDING ENTRIES PER YOUR EXAMPLE. FOR SOME REASON THE PROGRAM IS NOT READING THE FILE OR IS IGNORING IT. ALL ENTRIES IN THE DID NOT WORK.

Open control panel > Folder Options > View.
Make sure the 'hide file extensions for known file type' is *unchecked*.
Now go back to the folder and see if the file extension is '.ini'.
If this still does not work, please email the .ini file to support@acelogix.com
