Test AU2.34 Beta

Changes :

+option to disable registry backups
+option to save column widths of list controls.
+option to save column sort state
+A few GUI modifications
+Added option to limit number of registry backups
!Fixed a minor bug in erase history.
+added option to clear cookie index.dat
+added option to ignore folder in empty folder finder.
+Main buttons now show focus rect.
+Disk Analyser can now delete files
+Disk Analyser can now save report of disk usage
+Dup finder now has a new interface.
!Fixed a small bug in dup finder related to path names longer than 260 chars

Hmm, it doesn't work here.
Whenever i tried to hit any cleanup button (main window) AU crash with access violation error.
Tested on two setups with same results.

Also,

Options / View / Edit background color / Set color, when clicked it always displays wrong color, different than current in color selection dialog.
Foreground works OK

Focus rect is a bit distracting IMHO. Anyway you know better

Unfortunately i cannot test the rest because of crashes.

Hari,

New build works fine.
Just a few comments / suggestions follow...

1. Column width in "Empty Folders" isn't saved

2. Column width in "Disk Analysis" isn't saved

3. In my opinion, in history dialog, browsers should be written without version number, same as in cookie manager. For example Firefox v0.9 is already out and uses the same history folders as v0.8

4. "Set color" still opens selection dialog with wrong color selected (yellow) although Preview is OK. It happens even after reverted to "Default settings". Sometimes it's working others gives random colors.

5. "Select font" panel, looks a bit empty. Don't you think that some kind of font preview or something like that could give better appearance to that panel ?

6. Remove registry keys, confirmation messagebox, displays the trailing questionmark on a second line.

7. In startup manager, "Edit Entry" - Privacy plug-in manager window has wrong title. %d plug-ins installed

8. Missing finish sound in empty folders finder.

9. AU beta main window, appears green colored now. Is it by design? Just wonder, because the rest dialogs still use the old blue gradient color scheme. Btw old blueish look was better imho. That's a matter of taste though

Except suggestion 5, all other modifications have been implemented.

The greenish background will change, its just beta you know

You are really fast

Just found a small glitch in registry cleaner window...

Started scanning. Clicked on a found key.
Top status line says Reason: .... and subkey will be deleted
That's fine until now
Delete found keys
Start a second scan, it finds no invalid keys
Top status line still displays previous message (Reason: Empty key.....)

I believe it should be reseted to default message after each scan.

It will be released on August 1st week. Won't be too much different from the beta.
