ACE hangs on removal of startmenu click history?

First of all, I just wanted to say thanks -- I'm a recently registered user and I think that ACE is by far the best system-cleaner type utility that I've ever used. Keep up the great work with this program.

I just have one question/problem, namely that ACE seems to hang whenever I try to do the startmenu click history removal. Almost immediately the application goes unresponsive, and no matter how long I wait nothing seems to happen. I'm not sure -- perhaps I'm just not giving it enough time? How long should it take? Last time I tried waiting about 30 minutes, but to no avail, and it didn't even seem like it was working at all.

For reference, I'm running Windows XP. Any information as to what might be causing this problem would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your quick reply. Indeed, I was using v2.3.1 and so I went ahead and upgraded to 2.3.2. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to have had any effect, as I'm still having the exact same problem.

Is there anything else that could be causing this error?
