This is often a copyright protection by the program..Some program detects a clock change and treats it as am attempt to circumvent trial limits..
If you have a liscened copy of Ace Utilities;Be sure to uninstall any previous trial version..
Also if you have a program which updates/syncs your system clock turn it off and do a re-start..
Less likely is that you may have a weak Lithium battery wich-when affecting- may in some chipsets revert the clock to Time/DOM ..
Which could make it appear as an attempt to circumvent liscence- limits..
