Hi nymb09, if you'll look at the entries themselves it will give you a clue to what you're about to delete. When I downloaded this last beta of AU, it went to my "G" drive partition, but I moved the file to another location and after running the registry scan that location/file was picked up to be deleted. I'm sure that Hari can expand on this issue for you.

Just a few observations on RC...
1. No more sortcut keys (CTRL-1, 2 etc) in AU windows.
2. In "Delete files permanently ..." window, ESC key doesn't exit.
3. After installing release candidate over previous beta, option "Enable Recycle Bin context menu" resets to enabled. Besides that one, all other settings are preserved.
4. Suggestion: An option to disable - hide tray icon when AU is running.
Thanks

This is the encrypted list that Windows keeps and has paths of files opened/run by the user. It is 100% safe to delete.what exactly are these history lists in registry cleaner? theyre not listed in the help and i had a whole lot on first scan (like 125) just curious what these are and if theyre 100% safe to delete
Will add that before release. I am thinking of1. No more sortcut keys (CTRL-1, 2 etc) in AU windows.
Ctrl+S -> Scan
F5 -> Refresh
Del - >Highlighted delete
Shift+Del -> Delete all marked
Ctrl+U -> Uninstall/Update
Ctrl+O -> Options
(Alt+F4 -> Exit)
Will Fix it.2. In "Delete files permanently ..." window, ESC key doesn't exit.
That is unavoidable at least for now.3. After installing release candidate over previous beta, option "Enable Recycle Bin context menu" resets to enabled. Besides that one, all other settings are preserved.
That icon is used to show balloon tips. May be we can hide the icon if the 'dont show tray messages' option is disabled.4. Suggestion: An option to disable - hide tray icon when AU is running.
Thanks for checking. [/quote]

Why two delete commands? IMHO only one DEL function is safe: "Delete marked".hari wrote:Will add that before release. I am thinking of

Unless of course you mean that "Highlighted delete" will only remove entries from the list.
BTW a ballon tip is always displayed when "Empty recycle bin" is selected in wizard, even when "taskbar messages" been disabled.hari wrote:That icon is used to show balloon tips. May be we can hide the icon if the 'dont show tray messages' option is disabled.
