Please post system-clock fixkey related queries here
Ace Utilites has a 30-day trial period which, in your case, is not up yet.VictoriaMaxwell wrote:I only downloaded it on March 6th. Would the trial end that quickly?
Is the program not working ? Its possible that your PC clock setting got changed, inadvertently or otherwise, causing AU to lock up perhaps, in which case you need a fixkey to resolve the issue. Can you be specific on the problem at hand ?

Simply checking a prior/future date won't cause any problem, unless you accidentally hit 'Apply' or 'Ok' while viewing that prior/future date which would then result in a clock setting change.
When you start Ace Utilites, does it show any error messages/numbers ? If so, please give the details. If its anything related to PC clock error, Acelogix support will provide you with a 'clock fixkey'.

To restore registry deletions performed by AU Registry cleaner from outside of AU :
Go to the folder where AU stores your registry backups. Typically the folder is My Documents -> Ace Utilities Backups. If you have set some other backup folder in the AU preferences, then go there.
In the backup folder, you'll find a list of registry (.reg) files, which are in the format day_month_year_time.
Find out the file which was created before your Windows started experiencing problems. Double-click the file, then click Yes to merge that file into the Registry. If the problem is not fixed, you can try merging backup files created prior to the one you selected.
Note: This helps only if the problem was caused by the deletion of an entry or entries by AU Registry Cleaner. Problems not related to AU cannot be fixed with this.
