Is the 64 bit version of AU available yet? If so can someone point me in the right direction please? I've looked and searched but cannot find it!

I know this is mentioned in another post, so feel free to move/delete this one (once you have answered the question :D ).

I'm now starting to get a little concerned at the lack of support. I've sent two emails which haven't had replies and two posts that haven't!
I always recommended AU, but judging from the responses (or lack of) I won't bother any more.
Maybe it's time to look for another program and leave this one alone.

Dont jump ship so quickly, ive been using AU for a few years now and all of my questions on these forums were answered very quickly. Overall it seems as if the staff has gone missing, perhaps theyre on vacation or maybe theyve had some personal issues to deal with, I'd say wait another week or two and we'll know for sure.

Ok I'll wait a while and see what happens.

64 bit testing is in progress. We've been experiencing some technical issues with the PC in which Windows XP 64 and Longhorn beta were installed. This caused the delay. The status of the 64 bit version will be announced asap.

I would like to thank you all for your patience and the support you have given us.

Do you need a Beta tester? I'm willing to try it if you need feedback.

I'm a little concerned to see that you're beta testing the x64 edition on WinXP rather than Server 2003 ?

Since the x64 edition is based on the Server 2003 x64 implementation it would probably make more sense to test it on the parent product knowing that the watered-down child product should work.

So the question is, do you plan to support Server 2003 in x64 mode or just the desktop OS ?

Thanks,
JC

p.s: any word on a tentative limited beta release to the public ?

How many people run the server edition?
Better in my opinion to test on the system it will be used on the most.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.
developers, let me know what you think? Cover all the bases or the partial subset (being the desktop O/S)

To Mr. Greyhead, AU 3.0 is fully supported on Server 2003 32-bit edition. Why not expect the same level of 64-bit implementation? Makes everyone happy doesn't it? I am working at your end to get a 64 bit edition available to us. You're not helping with such a self-centered response. Nobody is making a 64bit version just for you. I am as representative of this community of users as you are.

Lamarmotte71.....

Self-centered? Version just for me?
You came to that conclusion all by yourself, just from reading my few posts?

Maybe I didn't word my reply too well and I should have explained myself more clearly. Even so I find your reply rather childish.

I paid for my version of AU, and as such have a right to ask questions on this forum for 'myself' if I want. How will this have a negative effect on development?

Look my questions are directed to the developers. I honestly don't know what you're trying to accomplish telling developers that it's best to test the product on Win XP exclusively. We are a corporate user and have licensed copies on our servers and I have personal licenses for home use. Everyone has unique needs. I have asked the developers a question so it really doesn't matter what you have to say about that. Your opinion was not even solicited.

We're both awaiting a 64bit version and that is clear.

As for childishness, yes I'm sorry to rain in on your personal parade here. If the indication of your 9 postings/14 total in this thread is anything to go by, I'd best let you continue to play with yourself. And I won't be entering into any further dialogue with you. I'll simply monitor to see if the Acelogix guys give us an update. And fwiw, I hope they charge for the 64bit license rather making it a free upgrade to recoup some development costs.
