Ace Utilities...Best way to erase/wipe entire hard drive?

Hi guys...

I'd like to securely erase an entire hard drive that is hooked up to my computer in an external USB enclosure.

Using Ace Utilities, what is the easiest way to do this?

Neither "Securely delete files" or "Wipe deleted file data" seems to address securely erasing an entire hard drive.

Perhaps first formatting the drive, and then using WIPE DELETED FILE DATA...WIPE FREE SPACE...ELIMINATE ALL TRACES OF FILES ON THE SELECTED DRIVE

??

Thanks...

At present, you cannot completely erase a drive securely in a one-click procedure.

You can
1) Delete the contents of the drive
2) If the contents were sent to Recycle Bin, then run 'Wipe recycle bin'
2) Run Wipe deleted file data
3) Run Wipe free space

OR

1) Quick-format the drive from Windows
2) Follow steps 3 and 4 from the above procedure

Thanks so much...

Well I'd like to make that suggestion then, that Ace Utilities has a feature to "1 click" secure erase an entire hard drive...this would be very useful for those times when a person wants to sell an old computer or an old hard drive.

Indeed. We've our eyes on that. Let's see. Tx.
