How can I know if I need the 32 or 64-bit version?

Hi,

If your Windows is a 32-bit flavor, then you need 32-bit version; otherwise 64-bit. Don't worry about the version. Instead, let the installer decide it for you. For example, in the case of Ace Utilities, just download the file given under the label 'For Windows XP/2003/Vista'. Afterwards, when you run the file, it will check which Windows version you're using and install the program accordingly.

That's exactly what I've done.
I'm using windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 3.
Is there a way for me to find out what version (32 bit or 64 bit) Ace Utilities installer has chosen?

In the current version of Ace Utilities, when you go to 'Menu -> About' if you see 'x64' displayed after the version number, then it's Ace Utilities 64-bit, else it's 32-bit.
