Enable 'Options -> Erase History -> Secure delete files' to securely delete history details.

Free space wiping will prevent recovery of deleted files. To securely delete files from certain folders, you can use 'Protect -> Securely delete files' tool.

Aneesh, I forgot to mention that I DO have this option checked.

securely delete history (as you referred to above)

Which is why I was surprised to see IE files that were still recoverable.

I understand the last item about deleting items in a folder. The problem is there are no 'folders' to delete. All items in the recycle bin are gone, but the recovery tool still sees the files and a folder under the recycle bin and claims they are recoverable.

Any thoughts?

Thought I would check for any updates to this but there don't appear to be any.

A free space wipe will fix it. We will check the issue.
