MySql files FYI

Post by pantomime_horse » Wed Mar 29, 2006 7:25 pm

does anyone know of any problems when running junk file remover that woul d cause "mysql" to fail to start? I ran it this am and had to restore the system to get mysql to start. I had run junk file cleaner after I backed up and when I restored all seems ok. Any ideas?

Thanks

P.S. I ran test and discovered that you CANNOT delete any files with junk file remover that end in .MYD if you are using MYSQL database. MYSQL will not start if you do.

If you could isolate the entries which are required by mssql, then you could instruct junk cleaner to ignore it thenceforth.
