Can't Run after upgrading to version 3.0

When I upgrade from Ace Utilities 2.60 to 3.0 it installs fine. When I run the program I get the following errors:

"R6034, an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information"

"Error, cannot find import; DLL may be missing, or wrong version file "zlib.dll", error 1114.

Any help is appreciated
Jeff

Hi Sitedev, please uninstall v2.6 completely and do a full install of v3.0!

Got the same problem here too. Full uninstall / reinstall didn't work. Even after system restart etc. Just get the zib.dll error. Any help appreciated :-)

Tried that; however, "no joy". Same errors.

After uninstalling AU did you check to see if the AU directory folder was still there, if so, please delete it too?

Yep, the directory and icon all removed, re-install and still same errors.

This is supposed to run on 2003 right?

Should I try to install it on my x64 box and see what happens?

Yes, it should.

How about going to the homepage of AU and download it again, and see that you delete your browser's cache.

Deleted cache, downloaded new file and still "NO JOY". I did install it on a 32bit XP box and it worked right away. I am wondering if it has something to do with the version of OS? Version 2.6 runs fine on everything including Windows 2003 X64 edition; however 3.0 will not run on neither 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows 2003. I will revert to 2.6 and try 3.0 when it gets fixed.

Thanks for your help,
Jeff

"Supports the following Windows releases: Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP (Pro & Home), and 2003."

There must be a bug somewhere then. It'll have to be checked out.

Cal,

Thanks, please let me know if you need me to do any testing or anything.

I appreciate the fine products from Acelogix.
