AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3

I am running the x64 version of Ace Utilities on XP x64. I do web design and am required to have multiple version of Firefox and I use a different profile for Firefox 3. AU will not clean the history of FF3 which is set as default browser.
Is there a way I can tell AU where the FF3 profile is or to have it find multiple Firefox profiles? CCleaner picked this up and works with Firefox 3 without any settings but I don't want to use CCleaner.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
J

Issues with Firefox 3 will be addressed in the next release of Ace Utilities which is due in a few days.

I agree, Under the cookie manager, if you select Firefox, it doesn't even show the cookies. But if you go to the Firefox - Tools, Options, Privacy, Show Cookies... the cookies are definately there.
Acelogix, is there a certain directory where we should setup our profile, or how can we make this work? I notice you can search for the opera profile but not firefox.
Thanks

We'll look into it. Thank you for notifying us. There could be problem with Vista x64, but it should work on XP x32 and x64, and Vista x32.

jwebby,
Are you using version 4.2 of Ace ?
Also, do you have FF2 and FF3 on the same PC ?
elena28,
Are you using Vista ?

Running XP x64, I am using AU4.2 and I do have FF v2 and v3 installed but v3 is set as the default browser with default profile located in the default location. v2 is launched via the -P no remote switch with it's own profile. I do web design so both browsers are necessary.
All I know is CCleaner works and AU does not.
Thanks

hi Jwebby
Can you please let me know if AU shows any profile names under Erase History > Firefox page ? Or is it just the profile 'Default' only ?
Also, are the firefox profile under different Windows user pofiles ? (like)
C:\Documents and Settings\<user1>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<xxxxxxxx.default>
C:\Documents and Settings\<user2>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<yyyyyyy.default>
or is it like
C:\Documents and Settings\<user1>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<xxxxxxxx.default>
C:\Documents and Settings\<user1>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\yyyyyyy.profilename>
We know you are a power user, please bear with us.

Same user, just two profiles, one for each FF version.
C:\Documents and Settings\User1\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\33a4129r.default
C:\Documents and Settings\User1\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\v2
The profiles show up on the FF profile page, they are checked, and it does clean the history, formdata, etc. For me, this is just a cookie manager problem. It doesn't show any cookies for FF in the cookie manager and it doesn't remove any FF cookies. And, unless you remove the parent.lock file, you must have FF closed to delete cache and cookies.
And no worries, I understand completely, I'm just glad you are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. If I can help in any way, just let me know.
Thank You
James

jwebby,
Can you please let me know the FF3 installation folder ? (c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox)
Also, paste the contents of the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox
include the subkeys too. You can right click on the above key, click Export from the context menu.

Hi -
I wasn't surprised that 4.1 didn't support cookie management for Firefox 3, since the way cookies are stored in FX 3 changed.
However, I just upgraded to Ace 4.2, and it still can't find any Fx 3 cookies.
While you look into the problem, can I find in the registry where Ace 'points' to the appropriate Firefox profile and cookie location?
(XP Pro 32-bit)
Hoping for a fix soon!

Sorry about the delay, I didn't get an email on this post.
FF3 is installed in:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Firefox\v3"
Hope this helps.
