Prob with Ace Utils Wizard - kinda hard to explain

Greetings.. this problem of mine with Ace Utilities has been driving me crazy. Did a search here on the forum and came up empty so hopefully the cure is easy.
When I first install Ace Utils, the Wizard (Maint & Tune-up Wizard) works as it should. In other words, no other window of a feature of Ace pops up, it does its scanning and error correcting without asking for any confirmation of deletion and all is good. But after I run the wizard the first time, every subsequent run of the wizard pops up other Ace windows, first the junk remover then the registry cleaner while always asking for delete confirmation. This is not normal behaviour of the wizard as I've been using Ace for about three years now and the wizard has never popped up other ace windows before. It always just did it's scanning from within the "wizard window".
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times, while deleting the acelogix reg key & prob still exists. Anyone have an idea about this?

Hi
No, we could not reproduce the error here.
BTW, please let me know why you want to run the wizard more than once.

Greetings & salutations once again! Today after more than 6 months I have finally figured out what the problem is! The problem only duplicates itself when I enable all the features of my Nvidia video card's "nView Desktop Manager". As soon as I disable the "nView Desktop Manager" the wizard works the way it's supposed to! But I need to keep the "nView Desktop Manager" enabled as I need to use its keyboard shortcut feature to switch video between my laptop screen & projector.
So now you now how to duplicate this error and can work on a fix, right? I'm sure that at least one of the Ace Utilities developers has an nVidia video card in their laptop and can enable all the features of the "nView Desktop Manager" and can thus now see this problem for themselves when the Ace Utilities' wizard is run.
Cheers!

LOL, is this a serious question? I run the wizard at least once a day every week. Isn't that the point of a registry cleaner?

Thank you for letting us know what caused the problem and how you solved it. Some issues, even if they are simple, are hard to crack as PCs used by different users have different programs, customizations etc and hence hard to simulate at our side for troubleshooting.

No problemo, was just glad I figured it out. Only way I did figure it out though is that I bought a new BenQ laptop a few days ago and decided to troubleshoot the problem while wiping its drive and installing XP & its drivers. The problem I explained presents itself now in both my laptops (Everex & the BenQ) which both have Nvidia graphics cards (Geforce Go 7600 & Geforce 8600M GS, respectively) so this problem shouldn't be too hard to duplicate with other laptops that have Nvidia video cards. Or at least I hope this can be looked at during the next build of Ace Utils (if still being developed).

hi andy
Can you check if you can disable Desktop Management for AU ? Add AU to Desktop Management > Applications and check mark 'Globaly disable all individual options'.
