Clean format with XP today and the newer version was downloaded and copy/paste does not work with new version. Tried several times - anyone else experience this? and did you notice that it "does" still work on the older verions when 2.2 uninstalled an 1.82/2.1 installed.

EDIT: Got my response in another thread, and was told to email Author for new key. Thanks for nice reply.

New key did not work :( Should I be expecting a third key?

Hey how about emailing them again (If you are a registered user) and let them know what happened. I'm sure you will get a positive outcome!

Your right - third key did the trick. Hari got back with me promptly and I finally got it working. The second ket didn't work, third times a charm. Great service :)

I have emailed 3 times and decided to try the forum as suggested. I have X'd out some personal information because I am not 100% sure what to list.

The v2.2 upgrade directed me here to get a new reg key. This is my 3rd email to get one. My old (NOW DEAD) email was charper1@xxxxx.net
The email to forward to is chuck@xxxxxxxxx.com

This notification is just a friendly reminder that on May 17, 2003 you placed an order for Ace Utilities. This order was paid using your VISA, whose last 4 digits are 0228. Ace Utilities Order number 05172003-52258-387 Thank you.

The new version of Ace Utilities 2.2 does require a new "Key" to function, so go to http://www.acelogix.com/support.html and email the Author. He will then send you a new key!

OK, thats well & good, but I was using this forum (as suggested on the support page) to determine what is the aprox wait time or IF my emails are being read at all. I am easily at about 3+ weeks, and that seems a bit lengthy. So i guess I just continue to wait with no specific answers or replys to my emails until my "re-trialware" runs out in 2 days.

Thanks for that! I was wondering what had happened to your previous reply that I responded to; I guess it was deleted.

HI,

I am glad you at last used this forum. I had replied all your previous emails, none of it was getting through, the mail getting bounced back saying the domain ( xxharper.com) cannot be found.

Please create another email id with say yahoo, and send me an email from that address. (Dont use hotmail/aol/msn, it may redirect some emails to the spam folder)

regards
hari
