Help! Can't get online after performing cleanup

Hello: I downloaded Ace Utilities yesterday and performed several cleanup functions. I'm sure I must have deleting something I shouldn't have, because now I cannot get online. I have no problem with my internet connection, and I've tried rebooting, but I still can't get online. I get a page not found error message in Explorer and Firefox just spins and never connects. I tried the restore function in the Ace Utilities program, but no luck. What can I do?

Using any function provided by Ace Utilities should not break your internet connection. Since you've tried the 'Restore' function which did not reverse the issue, it's something else. Try repairing your internet connection using the Network applet in your Windows Control Panel. Also, if you're using a firewall, make sure that it is not blocking your network access.
