So, any ideas on what might be the cause of my problem?
I'm hopeful that we can find a solution, as the Cookie Manager is the main reason I use the program.

au x64 sees firefox cookies now, but it still has the freezing problem. when will that be fixed?

A minor update for Ace Utilities which resolves the recent issues including support for Firefox 3 has been released. This updates may not be visible via the 'Check for Updates' option from Ace Utilities. So all users are requested to download the update from the website 'download' page.
