I have a utility called Downloader Pro by Breeze Systems that allows downloading of images from a digital camera/card. The preferences keep getting reset after running AceUtilities. The developer of the program thought this was the issue and noted: "Downloader pro's settings are stored in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BreezeSystems\Downloader\201
Is there a way to use the ignore list to stop this from occuring? I am unsure exactly how to configure AU, if possible to avoid this.
Thanks.
Downloader Pro Preferences being reset with AU
Re: Downloader Pro Preferences being reset with AU
* Create a file with name, say, BreezeSystems.dat
* Paste the following contents:
* Go to the folder where you have installed Ace Utilities, then navigate to Data\Ignore_Reg\ folder. Save the file here.
* Paste the following contents:
Code: Select all
[settings]
index=0
[data]
0=\BreezeSystems\

Re: Downloader Pro Preferences being reset with AU
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Two clarifications, Aneesh?
1. When I past the contents, does that include the "Code:" or just
[settings]
index=0
[data]
0=\BreezeSystems\
2. How do you create the BreezeSystems.dat file? I created a text (.txt) file and then renamed it .dat but it is listed as a "text" file--not a dat file like others in the ignore folder.
Thanks.

Re: Downloader Pro Preferences being reset with AU
* Open Notepad (Start -> Run -> notepad)
* Copy and paste the contents written inside the 'Code' box from my earlier post.
* Select 'Save As'; As filename, type "BreezeSystems.dat" including the quotes; Click 'Save'.
