WAHHHH!!! can somebody help me...

my norton ativirus's auto protect cant be turned on any more... as if the enable button is not working... and email scaning is now denied... i didn't do anything... is this the work of a malicious script? how can i fix it? :cry: :cry: :cry: :( please email me... :( :( :( :cry: really need your help... yawalulut@yahoo.com

Just reinstall Nortons AntiVirus software, as you may have deleted a Norton's file!

As Cal says re-installing the Nortons software will probably fix your problem..If this occurred immediatly after using Ace Utilities to clean-up;Then Use the Ace Restore function to restore all backups..Re-start the machine..
If you can start up the Nortons AV and parts of it work-other than the Auto-protect- Then try to run the "LIve Update" for the Nortons..

As well I don't have particulars ,right now, but I have read that there have been some malicious hack attempts against Nortons,Symantic and other major software suppliers...It might be a good idea to check the Nortons site for info if all else fails..
