Sort Bug in AceUtilities 4

Post by JRd1st » Fri Aug 17, 2007 1:45 pm

When I open the RegCleaner, do a scan, select one of the findings, switch View to Enable Groups Off, then press the Data column header to sort by the Data column, AU crashes.

This happened twice in a row, then on the 3rd time, it didn't happen. :?

ALSO, there's no horizontal scroll bar in the RegCleaner when the columns are too wide.

OK, the sort bug is fixed :D But why doesn't the RegCleaner window have a horizontal scroll bar?

Please send me a screen shot.

To make a screen shot, press 'print screen' on your keyboard. After that, Open 'paint' program, click 'Edit > Paste' menu. Save, zip and send me the file.

Hi

Resize the last column. (see a 'R..' at the right end of the list header ? )

Or you can select an entry from list and press 'Ctrl' + '+' keys. ie, Ctrl and the plus keys together.

Thanks for the tip about "Ctrl +", I didn't know about that. :D But, the whole idea of the Horizontal Scroll Bar is that you can size the columns the way you want, and when they get too wide for the window, the scroll bar lets you look at the last column(s) on the occasions that you need to.

I could swear that older versions had that scroll bar, but if they didn't, then I suggest that you add it.

Thanks!
