Hari, you're right,
those folders were not created by IE itself, in fact i've created them to test the exact situation.
If AU is able to delete only "real" IE cache then it's OK.

Aha. So it is not a general directory cleanout engine. You are already inferring the "Content.IE5" part of the path and this cannot be overridden.

I renew my claim that the UI should only expose the username and infer the rest.

I have to aggree with martyj19, the username is enough, although i prefer a general cleanout including rest users files and subfolders.

Btw hari, you did excellent job. I tried a lot to find a bug but had no ...luck, stable as rock :)

Marty, it will be like that in the next update. We did not want to make last minute changes :)

hmm... food for thought.

If you want to cleanout/empty a folder, you can create a new plug-in. Open notepad, and save the below text as a <somepluginname>.aup in the 'D:\Program Files\Ace Utilities\Plugins' folder

[SETTINGS]

NAME=unused
PATH=
ICON=
DESCRIPTION=This plugin will empty the folder c:\temp and c:\test
HIDEOPTION=0
PROVIDER=hari
VERSION=1.0

[REG_OPTION]

[DISK_OPTION]
0=Empty c:\temp <1> 0
1=Empty c:\test <1> 1

[REGISTRY]

[DISK]
0=c:\temp/E
1=c:\test/E

Hope this helps...

Already do that hari,

Just thought it could be done using AU "rest users" options,
not a big deal though :)

Hari, or Inray. Is AU 2.41 clearing the prefetch folder when wizard full option is used?

Have you check marked the 'Clear Prefetch' option under the 'Windows' page of EraseHistory ?

Thanks Hari. I didn't know it was on by default config - but it is. I have been clearing manually at times. I never needed to.
