OK, got it!!!!

It's in Options under VIEW.... "Edit back ground color"! When a color is selected and the "Preview" is clicked on nothing happens.

As Jazz has stated using the Windows System Restore feature, if you are using Windows XP or ME this can be accomplished and after doing so AU will be at a point when it was operating. I always suggest to any users to use a backup program just in case things like this happens. I currently use Ghost 9...

It Sounds to me like you're having problems with Windows, since AU doesn't have anything to do with your Internet connection.
