Hi Hari et al Just installed the new version (again) and got used to it very quickly. I even like the new feature to securely delete temp files and registry entrys during the scan. Also now enjoying the elimination of the tabs. Just go's to show you how good this program really is when someone a pic...

Version 2.6

Hi Hari and Aneesh This is really no biggie.I just got used to the way this version works. Actually it is just like the previous versions except for the small changes that were made along the way. I don't really see the need for the icon in the task bar either but someone already made a comment on t...

Currently Prefer Version 2.6........ADVISABLE?

Hi I have been using AU for over a year now and STILL think it is simply the finest program of it's type. I have also made a number of suggestions that I am happy to say were actually used. I am currently using version 2.6 and up until now have been constantly updating each version. In version 3 I f...

History Button Shortcut

Hi Cal
I never change those settings, that's why I suggested that, most of the time I use the Wizard anyway.

History Button Shortcut

Hi Hari....et al My idea is to have the "Erase Your History" START AS SOON AS THE BUTTON on the first page is pushed, just like the other 3 do. Now, when you hit the History button you automatically go to the NEXT PAGE and THEN hit "start". You could leave the existing start button where it is,after ...

Elimination of a few steps to streamline operation

As a faithful user of AU I have a few suggestions. A few of my past suggestions have been used in this fantastic little program,so here go's. From time to time I use the "automatic" feature for starting the various operations and find it very convienent. MOST OF THE TIME,however,I use the Wizard. My...

Deletion of Shortcuts

Hi Hari I'm just playing around with the new Beta 2.4.1 and noticed that shortcuts ALWAYS delete to the recycle bin, (can't be permanently deleted like files) it may have been that way in all past versions, but this is the first time I have noticed it. Is it supposed to do that even if "delete perman...

Shortcuts to Floppy

Thanks for the fast reply Hari! Having the choice of not scanning for those shortcuts will certainly take care of it!

Thanks again, Radioguy

Looking for shortcuts in the "A" drive..........FL

I know that the drives to be scanned can be chosen in "options". I always use "all drives",but I am just wondering WHY the "A" drive (FLOPPY) is scanned for SHORTCUTS as well. Previous versions did NOT do this and the ONLY reason I mention it is that I hear the floppy drive activated during the scan...

RE: CLOCK PROBLEMS

I guess it is just a coincidence that there are comments here about the computer clocks. I say that because I was about to post a message in reference to the fact that for some reason, since I have been using Ace my clock is keeping PERFECT TIME ALL THE TIME. This clock has been off usually by a few ...

The FIRST time it is run AFTER installation it is OK but as soon as you go to change anything regarding which files it will take out, it ALWAYS asks for a reboot no matter what. I hope they fix ...
