Thanks for your help Aneesh. Had I of not run the Wipe Free Space again already, I would have tried your method. However, letting it run this time around not only recovered my free space, but got back another 5GB on top of it.

As I mentioned there was no folders starting with the word ~WIPEFE." I am running the Wipe Free Space feature again, this time just using 1 pass, in hopes that it will correct it's own issue. As it is running now, I see a ~WIPEFE folder, so I do know that I was not mistaking when I could not find on...

Hello, I was using the Wipe Free Space feature on Ace Utilities v3.0. I was using the US DoD 5220.22-M (8-306./ E, C and E) (7 passes).
