interesting. would it be possible for an option to be added to ace to erase this file? then the next time ds was used it would simply create a new database? I didn't find an option to delete the file in the control options. I guess maybe deleting the physical file is the easiest way. do you know wha...

OK so what

is the difference between checking the 'move items to recycle bin' box or leaving it unchecked? Is one way better than the other? If it's not checked does ACE still use the wipe option you have chosen to wipe the file without moving it to recycle bin? I guess I just don't understand why you would ch...

Aneesh, I forgot to mention that I DO have this option checked. securely delete history (as you referred to above) Which is why I was surprised to see IE files that were still recoverable. There is no plugins selection under erase history. I have cookie manager, address bar editor, and IE users. That is it.
