Ah, ok, then I am okay. I never do anything else when I am wiping files. Will that be fixed in the next version or is it by design?

Any idea how far off in the future we can expect something? I use your program for all of my recycle bin wiping. If it isn't deleting the stuff properly, kind if makes it a moot point to use it for that.

I'm glad to hear that. I have never known you to release buggy software. A release without all of the suggested additions or changes is something I can live with.

There must be something on your system causing it. I have tested that over and over and it does not show like that for me. I am using XP Pro SP3.

I have a question concerning the Genie Backup Manager.dat file in the Ignore_reg directory. What is the "Cory" in this? Shouldn't that be the user of the system it is installed on? Did the registry compactor make it into the final release?

The latest version for download is version 5. The site hasn't been changed to reflect the new version yet, but the download is there.
