Yes, they are because it's considered an update even though it's a "Beta" version. Because if a user wants the final releases then they have to download from the Homepage of AU as only final releases are posted there. :wink: I am still confused then. The download from the Ace homepage is version 3....

Hi Lester40 and welcome to the forum. Try uninstalling 2.6 and then install AU 3.0 beta! So Ace utilities 3.0 is still in beta? I used the update feature in Ace 2.6, and it doenloaded version 3.0. I didn't think betas were available through the update feature in the Ace program.....only final relea...

Hi Keizer, welcome to the forum! There is a new installer being used with AU 3.0 beta and this may or may not be the problem, I can't say for sure. But did you try uninstalling/reinstalling AU? Yes, I tried un-installing, and re-installing several times. No luck! Is Ace utilities 3.0 still beta?
