Why is Ace Utilities so rarely updated?

Just wondering.
CCleaner seems to be updated every 30 days or more and I was just wondering why Ace goes so long without updates?

Show some respect for the hard work, it's released when it's finished.
Take it easy, Wolfy.

Re: Ace Utilities v5.2 RC1

Thanks, Aneesh

I uninstalled the old version and rebooted anyhow.

Just like to say that it is so nice to see a refresh of one of my favorite programs, Ace Utilites.
It's been a long time.

How long do you think before the full release will be available?

AU is looking good :)

Re: Does 4.2 have a New icon?

Is your desktop in medium icons view ? Yes, I have medium icons view on my desktop. If icon size is small, the old icon will be shown. Small, medium or large I keep getting the old icon. Also, try deleting that icon and creating a new icon. Tried this and the old icon is the only one that comes bac...

Please do away with the "Shield" for Windows Vista

Maybe on the next update you could do away with Windows Vista putting that Shield on the startup icons for Ace?

I just installed the latest version of Ccleaner and that shield was gone from their icons.

Ace, please do the same on your next release?
