Cookie Manager Shortcut?

Hi Guys, Great job on v5.2! Running Win7 x64 and no problems whatsoever. It now even finds and cleans my custom Firefox profile and the Cookie Manager works for FF!!! :D Is there a way via command line or whatever to create a direct link to the Cookie Manager? No biggie but would be nice. Thanks for...

Re: Ace Utilities v5.2 RC2

This has been an ongoing problem with AU for years and would be good if it could be fixed. If CCleaner can do it you guys can surely do it. If the Firefox profile is not in the default location, Ace doesn't find it, doesn't clean Firefox and the Firefox Cookie Manager doesn't work. I personally chan...

nh....why you guys wait for a last day to report suggestions, bugs :?

hehe
You're lucky I'm even reporting bugs as I had given up on Ace, then I saw this thread and thought I would give it another try.

OK. But thanks to you, we've found a minor issue and registry cleaning will not make you rebuild the index anymore
Excellent!

I am also working on a problem that has been ongoing for years with cleaning Firefox and firefox cookie manager. Will post details shortly.

I think I made a mistake, after cleaning the registry for the first time, reboot, rebuild the index and everything is fine.

I should have done that before I posted, sorry.

Thanks

Re: Ace Utilities v5.2 RC2

On Windows 7 x64 Professional, Ace RC2 Registry Cleaner totally wipes out Search indexing. All Reg Cleaner options are at default. Can you send the registry undo file created for the scan that made this issue for you? Let me know when you've got this so I can delete off the server. After running th...

Re: Plugin Builder - Editor

Thanks for you help but I can't seem to get this to work: Adobe has this key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\MediaBrowser\MRU\Dreamweaver\FileList] And then thousands of entries under it that look like this that need to be deleted. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\MediaBrowser\MRU\Dreamweaver\Fi...

Plugin Builder - Editor

Is there a way to build or edit plugins? For example Dreamweaver CS3 for some reason adds a registry item for every page edited, I have over 30,000 MRU entries under: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\MediaBrowser] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\MediaBrowser\MRU] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe...

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3

Thanks for all your hard work, everything is working good except one last minor issue. From the command line (or the history cleaner), with Firefox 3 open, it will delete cache but not cookies. CCleaner will delete cookies but not cache so I should be possible for AU to delete cookies and cache. Als...

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3

To elana28, mr.brownstone and Babar, You guys have hijacked my thread making if very confusing for the good people at Ace. This thread has multiple users with multiple problems on different OS's. If I were the admin, I would delete this thread and everybody open their own thread. That way they can k...

AU64 - hangs if you try to clear history from the command line when FF is open.

Re: AU x64 Doesn't Work for Firefox 3

I hate to say this but there is one last issue; I have a shortcut using commandline: "C:\Program Files\Ace Utilities\au.exe" /tasks:h If FF is open the little white box in the corner hangs until you close FF. I can make it work by unchecking the FF Browsing History but that kind of defeats the purpo...
